Ingredients
- 2 tbsp. cane sugar
- 1 lime juice
- 3 sprigs mint
- 6 cl carbonated water
- 5 cl white rum
- some ice cubes for serving
- mint for garnishing
Preparation
- Cut the lime into pieces. Place lime pieces and sugar in a glass. Lightly crush the mint with your hands and add it to the glass. Mash limes, sugar, and mint with a muddler.
- Add ice cubes and rum and stir. Top off with carbonated water.
- Finally, decorate with mint.

My cocktail tip:
Wash the lime and press it against the surface you’re working on with the flat of your hand, and roll it a little. This way, you can get more juice out of it. This not only helps with Mojitos but with other drinks that are prepared with limes as well, like margaritas and cosmopolitans.
