Preparation
Place the peeled lime in a shaker, then mash with a muddler or spoon.
Now add all other ingredients. Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake.
Now pour through a strainer into a whiskey tumbler or tiki glass.
Top with crushed ice and garnish with the cherry and pineapple.
The cherry gives the Mai Tai the desired retro look.
Notes
Little expert tip: Never hold the cocktail shaker at the middle. Always at the top and bottom. This keeps your hands warm and the drink cold.
