Aperol sour – refreshing and delicious

Aperol Sour – Refreshing and delicious

The Aperol Sour is an absolute summer classic. Are you looking for a refreshing summer drink? Maybe something with Aperol, but different from an Aperol Spritz? Then this cocktail is exactly what you’re looking for: A fruity sour prepared with Aperol, a little lemon juice, and orange juice.

Just like the Aperol Spritz, the Aperol Sour is quick and easy to prepare. So let’s start with the cocktail recipe right away. As always, I will share my personal tips for the cocktail at the end of the recipe.

What ingredients do we need?

The ingredients for this cocktail are actually very manageable. We need 5 cl Aperol, 3 cl lemon juice, 2 cl orange juice, 1 cl sugar syrup, half an orange slice, a few ice cubes, and last but not least 6 cl soda water to top up with. Of course, we also need a glass and a shaker.

My personal tip for the recipe

If you prefer your cocktail to taste sourer, feel free to add more lemon juice. The same applies to similar drinks with lemon juice like Zombie, Vodka Fizz, or Whiskey Sour.

Which glass should I use?

Normally, glasses like a tumbler would be recommended. Personally, I think you can use just about any glass for this cocktail. It doesn’t make a difference in preparation anyway.
